Love – That the trend continues and when I got up this morning I was greeted by gentle spring sunlight and the faintest wash of warmth. After feeding das meowfia I HAD to open the balcony door and let the fresh air in.
Love – The 3 birthday cards that are sharing mantle space today. Most people don’t care much for cards and letters, but I’m one of those people who keeps them forever and ever, and actually revisits them to read them.
Love – The wonderful new sheets my sweetie found for us. They’re cotton but have a slight satin finish, and they feel sooooo good. Apparently Her Highness thinks so too, because the sheets hadn’t even settled on the bed before she’d climbed on in.
Love – The conversation I had with a coworker from Halifax this morning. She’s visiting Vancouver for the week and can’t get over the profusion of tulips and greenery. In her words, spring hasn’t arrived in Halifax yet, and their grass is still brown. I’ve promised to send her bloom updates once she returns home. It’s always nice to hear how visitors view our city.
Love – The plethora of accents I’ve been hearing this past week during my walks home. From the looks of it, there are a lot of UK visitors here right now!
Love – The possibilities a fresh week provides.
So… what’s on your list today?

Thanks Pearl! Mine is actually not ’til this Sunday, but my friends and family seem to be getting a real jump on it, which I really appreciate.
I can add a few more loves to this list now too:
- love the wonderful blog friends I’ve got
