After almost two weeks of play, I think it’s safe to say that I’m officially in love with the new technology that’s taken up residence at chez Nota Bene. So today, a moment of love for all the things that are making my life that much better.
Love – The new macbook. It’s so shiny! I’m doing my best not to pet it in case the two-cat mafia get upset, but honestly it’s lovely. Did I mention the shiny?
Love - The wireless. Why we didn’t do it before I don’t know, but now that we have it Ironhead and I are taking full advantage. We’ve become that couple that sits head to head at the dining table, drinking coffee, and not talking at all ’cause we’re a/ intensely comfortable NOT Talking and b/ busy surfing recipe websites for food porn, the internet for worthy information of a seriousĀ nature.
Love – the iPod that had to come home with us when we got the Mac. It allows me to be asĀ anti-social as I want when braving most public places. Soon it will be fully loaded with my old Zen playlists, and I will be the happy camper who gets to listen to Social Distortion right after Duran Duran if she so feels like it.
Love – the iPod docking station my sweetheart was gifted with. It’s tiny but does it’s job so well. The only thing I’m concerned about is the lack of radio, but now that Jurgen’s only on weekends and CBC has changed it’s programming so drastically, there’s really not a big call for daytime radio. I think Ms. Cleo is still grumpy about her lack of Disk Drive though.
Love – That I’ve had no problem’s getting my canon and mac to work together. What does this mean? Photos! From the Nike Human Race. From yesterday’s SoapBox Derby. And anything else my little heart desires.
You’re turn – what technology makes your life better? Why?

Your old computer speakers/sub-woofer are working out quite nicely hooked up to the teevee.
